Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your My Magic Pencil account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed — as required by the Google Play and Apple App Store data-deletion policies.
Delete it yourself, in the app
1. Open My Magic Pencil (web at https://www.mymagicpencil.com, or the mobile app) and sign in.
2. Open the menu (☰) → tap "Delete my account & data".
3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.
What gets deleted
Your account (sign-in identity).
Every lesson you created or saved (removed from storage).
Your subscription and daily usage records.
This is irreversible — there is no undo, and we cannot recover deleted lessons.
Delete only your data, and keep your account
If you'd rather clear your data without closing your account, you can:
1. Open My Magic Pencil (web at https://www.mymagicpencil.com, or the mobile app) and sign in.
2. Open the menu (☰) → tap "Delete my lessons & data".
3. Confirm. This deletes every lesson you created and your viewing history immediately, while your account stays active.
Kept in this case: your account itself. You can delete it too, along with everything else, by deleting your whole account.
What may remain (and why)
Routine encrypted backups may retain data for a short period before being overwritten on their normal cycle.
Records we must keep for legal/accounting reasons (e.g. a record that a subscription payment occurred) are retained as required by law, without your personal profile.
Anonymous content fingerprints used to prevent abuse contain no personal information (only one-way hashes).
Can't access your account?
Email support@mymagicpencil.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and data on your behalf, typically within 30 days.
